This project was sort of derived from Daniel Diehl's book, "Constructing Medieval Furniture." The theme is based on a miniature from the Manesse manuscript and was drawn by Mistress Lia. I really understimated the amount of time it would take to get this guy painted. It kept going . . . and going . . . and going . . .

Glory Be -- FINALLY -- it's finished!

In the beginning . . . the walls of the feast hall were formless and void, with darkness over the surface.

. . . and they said let there be a wall hanging . . .

And it was so. . . . And they said, let there be musicians . . .

. . . and it was so.

And they saw that it was good.
