By The Honorable Lady Sueva the Short

Many prizes and gifts have been created by the artisans of Sylvan Glen. Here's a sampling . . . .

Fencing Torchlight Tourney Scroll

Aethelmearc lies cloaked in shadows gray,
But still her children hunger for a fray.
So gather in a ring of torches lit
That by such light may honor's tale be writ,

And deeds to which the valiant heart aspires
Though done at night eclipse the very fires.
Now carry word to distant foreign parts,
In Sylvan Glen there burn such fires and hearts.

Composed by Lord Morien MacBain
Calligraphy and illumination
by Lady Brianna na Gealtacht

Heavy Weapons Torchlight Tourney Scroll

Trupet loudly to all who may hear that Gabriel of Maccuswell has won the heavy torchlit tourney held at the Siege of Glengary this thirteenth day of September, anno societatis XXXVII, in the Shire of Sylvan Glen.

Composed by Lord Morien MacBain
Calligraphy and illumination by Mistress Cunian Beornhelm

- Four red velved mantles created for the four "Defenders." Made by Elizabeth Coney.

A beautiful plate for one of our neighbors, created by Baroness Kristin.

A lovely pedestal platter shown from above, for other neighbors, by Mistress Lia.

An etched carboy, for our "thirsty" northern neighbors.
